Yokai Watch is an interesting show and game series. It has some really great qualities and characters, but it also has some extremely terrible qualities and characters. However, it does has some pretty amazing creature designs!

As a creature designer myself, few things have been as influential as the creature designs from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon. The specters, vapors, boglins, troll, phantoms, and devils that inhabit the world of The Real Ghostbusters are some of the best out there.

Nub Scrub - Violets & Blossoms (album review)

This is my favorite Nub Scrub album. Violets & Blossoms is a bizarre  electronic album that uses hip hop beats with elements of Vaporwave, drone, samples, live bass playing, and a variety of other genres to pull together a unique and interesting sound.

Social Music is my favorite track on the album, but Monkshood and If It's Funky (I Play That) are close runners up. I always enjoy Nub Scrub's work and love when he experiments with a new genre, and hope to hear more from him soon.
